Video was tanking in views, just like the last flathead video, so I changed the title and thumbnail. None of you care about my Woodie, it seems. Liking and commenting might help :(
Love the woodie!
I like it.
Cale Western lol you do realize shipping has been backed up for months right? I’ve shipped quiet a bit of stuff that took forever to get there... it happens..
HOOVIES RIPPED US OFF. This is my favorite channel on LVworld, so much so my girl ordered me a shirt for my birthday. That's tomorrow, and she sadly informed me she ordered the shirt over a month ago and it never came. Contacted HOOVIES garage for an update or refund to only get no response. Very poor business practices. BEWARE EVERYONE!!!
Possibly dome algorithm problem, I usually get your videos pop up as they come, but this one only popped up now, over 3 weeks later... Only realised it after I saw the lambo still disassembled and you saying that you're unsure about the transmission
a great video of a great classic car
The Wizard is well named. Impressive guy!
That was better than a Visible V-8, the old transparent engine model made by Revell (and still sold). I'll bet the Wizard has one stashed away in some forgotten attic space next to a boxful of a wireframe Christmas tree. It should be a question for each and every builder on LVworld. Have you built a Visible V-8? If the Wizard has not, I don't want to know.
l had a 53 Ford Customline w/ the flathead 8. Loved that car. l never knew it was the last flathead year. l got the car from my grandmother who bought it new. She drove it every wednesday and sunday until the early 90s when l got it w/ 35k on odometer in perfect condition. Sadly it was stolen and when l found it it had been completely stripped and destroyed.
My 2010 Rapide had exactly the same problem this month! I live in the UK and Chiltern Aston (the independent I use) diagnosed the fault as a faulty bonnet latch. Also, it’s important to fix because the windscreen wipers don’t work if the car thinks the bonnet is open. I discovered this when it was raining and driving on the motorway-scary! Just some other facts: the black textured paint on the wing mirrors will start to peel off - there are no wing mirrors left for the Rapide. Also, do you have a rocker switch under the headlamp light switch cluster? No one seems to know what it does... not even Aston! It’s great you have brought awareness of this car to your audience’s attention. It’s such a great GT and sports car and is much more exciting than anything from Bentley or Mercedes. Please let us know how you fixed the fault.
soooo cool
Manual displacement on demand
hoovie, when will you ever learn to buy Japanese quality ? Toyota ring a bell ? give us some Japanese quality for a change. we want Honda's and Toyota's as well
@1972 AMC Ambassador I disagree. Many fans want also some grownup rational car purchase behaviour.
If he did, the video would get no views.
anyone else thought it sounded good without half the engine running
I hope Wizard gets the opportunity to visir jay lenos garage in person!
I didnt know an engine would run with the head off! But then again, i am a moron.
Respect the Woodie Tyler, don't do stupid things to it. It's value is its originality. So he throws half the thing out.!!!
How the hell does a50 ford flat Head start with out a cyl head. Never Seen in all the yrs I worked in shops.
autists when they see the original flathead V8: "Ls sWaP iT"
How to ruin a classic car's value by modernizing it with Hoovie. 1/5 stars. Good job Hoovie. You just ruined the value of it.
So this is how a mechanic can get enough money for a motorboat...
The oldest car I have seen in his videos was the best and least hooptie.
Love the old woody. My dad had one and we used to take it camping with a little tent trailer. Good memories. Great rig.
Its really crazy actually seeing the pistons move. Like in my mind im like 900 rpm isnt that fast. Then you look at it and its like. Damn thats actually really fast.
I own a 51 ford coupe when I was stationed in Japan at Tachikawa AFB, back in 1960. Thats where I learned about working on motors and the famous flat head. My first job was replacing king pins, what a start of an education....😅🤣😂😆😁
shameless edelbrock plug
just became aware of your channel through another one of your vids. Love the content. keep it coming! I’m living vicariously through your channel at the moment 😎
Doesn't the Wizard have a video about beware the pitfalls of buying cheap euro cars?
Make the woody faster, why??,if you ain’t dropping an LS in it,what’s the point.
Awesome car.. please please please don't cut the dash to put a modern radio, hide it in the glove or under the seat or something, probably the single worst thing people do to these classic dashboards. You can get a small Bluetooth receiver that hides away nicely or a slim 1din radio Hit me up if you want some ideas @hooviesgarage
Wizard is very natural on camera now. It's pretty dope to see
Never buy European cars.
Hoovie - just give you bank balance to the Wizard and then use Uber
Electrical gremlins? In an Aston?
in the old days you would blame lucas the master of darkness on electronic issues on british cars
Pretty Please, with sugar on top, can we have more of the Woodie ? I just LOOOOOVE that car. 😊🙋🏻♂️🇩🇰
The first time I actually feel like I'm born in the wrong generation. Boy that's an awesome engine in the Ford.
I like the woody 😃
Anyone else watching this shouting to the Wizard to double check sensor cables at this point on the lambo?
The car is great but I haven't seen your woodie yet.
Offenhsuser made an inline 4 engine that was dominant at Indianapolis from the 40s to the mid 60s. Extremely impressive.
scotty said those britt car are endless money pit
75%of the cars there is his
That headless V8 was so coool.
What happened to the Wagoneer?
Are you kidding Tyler? She's the Queen of the fleet! Nice catch dude! Sell me the Prowler!
"Some British electronic thing" sums up owning a brit vehicle perfectly
I’m British and I don’t drive a British car!I know better.
This is one of the coolest videos you’ve done. For a mechanic like Wizard who has seen everything, to be amazed by that is pretty neat.
Love this channel
Love seeing these videos on this old flat head Ford! That was an awesome party trick to see! Must be really special in person!
I do like your video but I believe in keeping old cars in that good of condition as stock as possible. The 12 volt conversion maybe but everything else is not what I would do. Just my opinion.
Wish I was rich has him. I wouldn't of spent 6 years doing my car up lol
Wizard needs a heated ultrasonic cleaner.......
That Woody is badass, Tyler! Wow!
The wires dried out 🤷♂️🤣
The flathead V8- you’ll never spend so much money to go so slow.
Nice v12 SL behind you. See the bonnet insulation has done it's normal thing and fallen into the engine😊
Today on Hoovies Garage, Hoovie drives a Ford Fusion to go see his Ford Wagon!
the flathead running w/o a head has been the pinnacle of the Hoovie Experience.
A Ford flathead is just 8 Briggs & Stratton lawnmower engines.
Faster Prowler is all I heard in those 16:42 minutes!
No I lied. The flathead stuff is really cool.
So are we gonna address the Forester in the room? Or did I miss a video?
More on the Woodie please - and thank you for all your great content!
Edsel Ford's genius...they would have still been making Model Ts if Henry had his way...
and the woodie is way cooler than a used car sale...
Love you wizard but mechanical injection doesn't pop. It is a continuous spray.
Tyler. You have an iPhone. You missed the perfect opportunity to use the slo-mo function during that party trick. It would have slowed it down perfectly. Maybe next time, hint-hint, wink-wink.
lol tavarish did it by himself in a few days lol this guy isint a wizard hes a fraud lmao
Goodness, that Rapide is stunning. Inside and out that's one of the best looking designs ever. Edit: Thanks for showing us the Flathead party trick! I've grown up around cars (dad's a technician) and motors of all sorts and have worked in the automotive service industry myself for almost 2 decades and I've never seen anything like that before! Don't you dare sell the Woody Hoovie!
funny weve gotten to the age that you have to explain how an old flathead works to people by compairing it to modern overhead cam and pushrod engines.
if you go to a mechanic for your car beeping about the hood thats pretty sad. reflects upon your intelligence. I know not everyone is a mechanic but jesus.
Fantastic start of a single row V8! Never seen it! ...WOW -- nice to see the valves opening etc.
Hoovies excitement over this car is so genuine. Deserves lots of views
I like how you stay so simple and true to your channel’s core mission. Your channel is not one big flex like vehicle virgins.
Coolest most unique car collection on YT in my opinion. Keep it up Hoovie.
We all know Tyler can afford much nicer cars now, but I'm glad he's still buying hoopties to keep Wizard's Rolex habit going. Good on you, Hoovie.
Hi hoovie
That car is beautiful. Please put me on the list when you get tired of it. I'll trade you for a 98 F150 though I think you're worth a bit more. Nice video!
Them woodie wheels: does anyone know where I can get some like those?
Looking forward to seeing future videos on this car. Who cars what the 12yo of the video world say. Just post what you want and the rest will follow.
that really is a beautiful flathead ford
“Yeah I guess for temporary we can 👌🏼them together” ..(2mins later heating up the soldiering gun)
Soaking injectors in a tub of cleaner? About time the Car Wizard spent some of Hoovie's money on an ultrasonic cleaning bath, I think. ;-)
Looking forward to seeing how the Ford goes with the fancy cylinder heads.
I love the stuff like this, it’s one of the only classics i see being built on LVworld
Holy Cow Tyler! You hit a MILLY! Congratulations to the best dumbest automotive channel in all of LVworld. I really do enjoy all of your content sir!
And congratulations on your new addition too! You’re an inspiration to fathers and car enthusiasts everywhere
Harley Davidson unveiled a flathead design in 1929.
Dude I LOVE your woodie! I'm sorry the masses don't... But it seems as time goes on, ppl care less and less about old cars... Its really sad!
Hoovie, hopefully you look into fixing the video stabilization... been an issue for a bit when holding the camera in your hand. Very choppy, like it's overcompensating.
Half a million views in three days is tanking?? Or does the counter reset if you change the title?
Offenhauser also makes heads for flathead much more history than Edelbrock and it was Vic senior . Really turn in your car card . Look poorly informed is not a good look .
Nice Gladiator and Miata
I have been waiting for you yo dig into this since you bought it!!
Did you see the Acura Legend on ebay in Kansas City? Could be a great Hoovies/Wizard car!!
displacement on demand
You call it dated I call it original of which is a good thing. Aluminum on iron is not a good idea. Back in the day you could run a car on a dead batt. Back when the tow truck was a show peace.
In a world of bad news and anxiety, I can always turn to Hoovie for something pleasant and escapist. Thank you.
You looking for a job lol
I can't believe hoovie pulled a head and got it off and then didn't say woody until the end 🤣
Should check for your next hooptie in hertz closing out sale
Please find a 1980’s era Shelby Dodge. Any of them would be cool.
The thing that annoys me most about Wizard is that he's not in the U.K. :-(
What’s the link for the Chrysler site Tyler 🧐
Cmon hoovie bid on the m Claas
You can pull a head off but you can’t service or fix your cars ?
